Wireless How-ToBy Free Some wireless cards do not work out of the box on 64 Studio, mainly because they require proprietary firmwares which can't be distribuited by third parties. This page intends to collect instructions about how to get common wireless cards working. Broadcom 43xx cards All you need is to install this APT repository to your sources deb http://ubuntu.cafuego.net feisty-cafuego bcm43xx and install the bcm43xx-firmware package. Then reload the kernel driver with: ~ $ sudo modprobe -r bcm43xx; sudo modprobe bcm43xx and the wireless network interface should appear in the network admin dialog of GNOME.
