Version?
Any idea what version it was? or architecture?
Did you perhaps try to load the 64bit version on a 32bit system?
installation frustration
I, too, didn't realize you couldn't install from the Live CD. The machine I want to use has no DVD drive, is there a net install option? I do have Debian 3 install disks, is there a way to convert a standard Deb. install to 64 Studio? I tried changing the apt sources and running a distro upgrade, but it wanted to uninstall the kernel and then i couldn't boot... i really want to give this a try, but I don't know how to get it onto my system! GRRRRRRR
any thoughts?

1.0 + upgrade via apt
You could try installing 64 Studio 1.0, wich if I can remember well was installed from a CD, and after that upgrade using apt. As much as I'm concerned that should work.
That's a great idea....
That's a great idea.... where can I download it?
Thanks,
