Kudos to the Crew!!With the recent post I've mention problems I was having with 64 studio... I stand corrected in saying that this is by far the best and most solid distro for music making in the Linux world...PERIOD!! I moved over from Windows 5 years ago and 64 studio is the best I've seen. Where do I donate? It isn't riddled with extra crap. It has exactly what you need to get the job done.. Come on take your hats off community to a fantastic job done by the 64 studio crew!!! Sorry for the "non techy post" but I'm pleased with the freedom of choice these fine lads have given the world!! Donations
Hi Mick, thanks for the kind words :-)
We haven't set up the site for cash donations, and we'd be unlikely to do that because we don't have not-for-profit status. We might have a tip jar for answering support questions, once we launch our end user support offer. In the meantime, the best way to help us is to test the distro and file some bug reports. If you can post bug reports with solutions, that's even better.
More kudos
Maybe this is not the most updated distro in the Linux world but it is great for audio work! This is my default in GRUB.
I want to drop a line about the tutorial on creating a master CD, just to say Thank you very much Quentin! I write it here because I don't have anything worth to add or comment about it.
How is the Gospel album going, by the way?
