I have an emu-0202 usb box. Historically, this unit was not recognised by Alsa, but some development work has been done in recent months.

Basic testing indicates that 2.1pre1 of 64studio recognises the unit, and basic operation appears to work.

Initial findings:

The unit is recognised when the usb connection is made
The unit will record through Ardour
The unit plays back as expected

There have been a couple of xruns, but that is likely due to configuration problems in jack.
