Debootstrap WarningHi first post. I am trying to install 2.1. System specs are. gigabyte 7vt600-rz motherboard I get the error "Debootstrap Warning" while the base system is installing. It barfs right there no matter what I try. Found this thread http://www.64studio.com/node/294 after a search in the forum, only result for this type of error. This fellow got his error after the install was complete. When he booted into his system. It seemed nothing got resolved. Used K3b for the DVD-ISO burn. Thanks for any suggestions Philip

I have checked the download
I have checked the download and it is good.
The lack of response to my
The lack of response to my install issue is very disappointing at best. I Could not imagine paying for support when I cannot even get one response that could help me get the thing installed.
I would assume this post and topic will be deleted as to not discourage anyone from paying for help.
This experience is very disheartening.
If only we knew who we are entertaining would we never stray from humility.
Hi
Philip.
I missed your post...
The nice thing about paid support, is that you get Daniel and/or Free to sort out your issues. They are normally a bit busy with OEM projects and paid support to have time to offer support here, although they do pass though here every time and again...
Back to your problem...
Check that you have the latest BIOS for the motherboard. I had a similar problem in the beginning
Cheers,
Quentin
PS: The post will not be deleted... It serves as a good example of why it is a good idea to bump an issue when you realise there is no response - like you did today. Should just have been a bit earlier
Thanks for the suggestion
Thanks for the suggestion Quentin, flashing the bios to the latest had no effect.
